The Big Reunion Weekend 1 '09

The Big Reunion takes place on three back to back three day weekends late in the year, at the Butlins resort in Skegness, Lincolnshire.

There will be six arenas kitted out in state of the art sound and light, featuring hand-picked and famous acts, DJs, 48 hours of music, visuals and interaction from 12 leading promoters from the dance, urban and indie scene and over 60 live acts.

The line-up includes The Wombats, The Holloways, Utah Saints, Trip, Mary Ann Hobbs, The Wombats, Judge Jules, Tim Westwood, Tall Paul, DJ EZ, Micky Slim, Anne Savage, Lisa Lashes, Eddie Temple Morris and more with many more acts still to be announced. Also more promoters have been added to the line-up to include Judgement Sundays, Godskitchen, Twice as Nice, Xfm's Remix, Hed Kandi, Cream Classics, Kissdafunk, Trinity, Essential Grooves and Rewind.

Following last year's success, there will be a Silent Arena again taking place in Jaks on Saturday afternoon from 2pm-8pm.

The theme on the Saturday Afternoon for the street party is winter costumes there may even be the possibility of snow! Think 80's retro ski gear, yeti's, reindeer, cool runnings, xmas snowmen and anything white and winter related... Think Winter, Think BIG.

Doors open at 12 noon on the Friday of the event, and closes at 8am on the Sunday of the event. The coaches will depart bang on at 12 noon on the Sunday, but you have to vacate your room by 10.30am. There is a £5 charge for car parking, if you intend on driving.

Please note that if you're booking with 2 or less people then you will be put in shared accommodation. In this case you will have your own bedroom for 2 people and bathroom facilities will be shared. Rooms vary in size for a minimum of 3 to a maximum of six people.

The facilities available on site are supermarket, splash pool, sauna, hydro spar, medical center, Burger King, pizza restaurant, take-away, 3 cash machines, Ladbrokes, Odeon cinema, ten pin bowling, and many other sports bars and restaurants.

Tickets this year were priced at £159 with accommodation, and have sold out. The price included two nights on site accommodation sleeping two-six people, access to all the venue's facilities and a wristband allowing unlimited access to all six arenas for the entire weekend.
