Pete Allerhand (Guitar/Ukelele), Andy Davis (Guitar/Vocals), Stuart Gordon (Violin)
The 3 Cabs have been together since the 80's. They mix gipsy fiddle diddlee-dee celtic stuff with Texas Swing and down-home standards. They describe their influences as Robert Crumb's, Cheap Suit Serenaders meet Todd Rundgren in an Irish bar!
Pete was a member of 70’s band ‘Interview’, Andy was a founder member of ‘Stackridge’ and later ‘The Korgis’ and toured with ‘Tears For Fears’ & ‘Goldfrapp’. Stackridge have now reformed and released a new album in July of this year. Stuart has his own studio in Bristol and composes music for film & TV.
The group are huge fun and have entertained the folk of the South West for many a year, we are pleased they have agreed to come and warm a chill November night in Bristol with us, on a rare outing.
